"We talked about how we can find ways as followers to interpret the dance as much as the leaders. How to encourage the leader to be open to exploring a dialogue when we dance, not only having a monologue and the follower just follows. We talked about how to create that open spacious listening place between our dance partner and ourselves, where the leader initiates the movement, the follower takes it and interprets it, and the leader takes that input and brings it into the next movement. All of this is only possible if the music informs both of us. —Vidia
Very thought provoking - I appreciated the open minded, inviting, curiosity. We touched on many details pertaining to Tango and the Tango-world - which opened new views for me. —Ursula
That some communities have trouble with in-fighting between promoters, some communities need help to grow and continue. Also, we (Bay Area Argentine Tango Association) need to tell people that our calendaring system tangomango.org covers all of the United States. This means that any community can use tangomango.org to list events. —Stuart

finding areas of resonance and common experiences and also differences in context. I recognize from this experience something really valuable from the milonga experience that I'm missing lately, just the possibility to finding points of connection with a "stranger." —Korey
Very rewarding to connect over the ages - with someone who is currently living through a situation I lived through many years ago. —Ursula
We talked about how women leaders often are more open to listening to the follower and creating a dialogue, instead of just being in a dancing relationship with the leader having a monologue. —Vidia
It was special to discuss cultivating/opening body intuitiveness and how it relates to tango. —Zoey
